Gobo Koalas Filter

Gobo Optic Light Filter Koala by Merry Sparks

Let’s illuminate buildings with ART!

A GOBO (graphical optical blackout) is a physical stencil or template that is placed inside or in front of a light source, to control the shape of the emitted light. They are often used with stage lighting instruments to manipulate the shape of the light which is cast over a space or object. A metal gobo with patterned holes allows only the desired shape or pattern of light through, casting a specific pattern of light and shadow into the space.

A few of my designs are available here, but please commission me to come up with a design based on your brief. Email merry@merrysparks.com

This gobo optic light filter design is based on my painting series called “How Much Can A Koala?”.
